value of total column not based on the aggregation

Answered
Jaco asked on February 29, 2024

Hi,
Total columns calculate their value based on the aggregation of that column, but sometimes we just want the sum of the columns instead of the aggregation (f.e. average) of that column.
Is there any possibility for this?

Hello Jaco,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

Currently, Flexmonster doesn't have the option to specify a separate aggregation for the grand totals. However, this feature has already been added to our customers' wishlist. We will notify you if there are any updates on the matter.

You are welcome to reach out should other questions arise.

Kind regards,
Nadia

The same also applies to "calculated columns" with an "IF" in it.
the total column/row wil use the IF on the total value, but does not sum all the values of the column sand rows
Found an existing fiddle of this issue here:
https://jsfiddle.net/flexmonster/pwn4tk84/
the column "Formula #1" does not sum all the columns above, but does the formula based on the 2 total values...and therefore getting a value that is not really the "total" value.
Is this also in the feature request?
regards Jaco
