Dragging field to the last position in filters using fields UI

Hi there,
 
Finding it nearly impossible to drag a field from the "all fields" panel to the "report filters" panel such that it becomes the last filter. The same really goes for any panel inside fields dialog if the panel already has enough fields to fill up the viewable area. Can this be improved to avoid having to drop the field just anywhere and then drag and drop again inside the grid to get it to go where desired?

Thank you for sharing your suggestion on Flexmonster functionality.
 
This request seems reasonable to us. The corresponding improvement of the Field List is going to be provided with a minor release ETA 28 Dec.
We will keep you posted with any updates.
 
As a temporary workaround, we suggest using one of the following approaches:

  1. Increasing the height of the Field List, so the "report filters", "rows" and "columns" boxes will resize correspondingly. This feature is available in the 2.8.21 version of Flexmonster: https://www.flexmonster.com/release-notes/.
  2. Decreasing the size of the field's block using CSS to place more fields in the viewable area of the box. Here is an example: https://jsfiddle.net/flexmonster/rknvL123/.

Maybe you can help me with something else and if I should post it as a separate inquiry, let me know. In flat layout, as one chooses the fields to display, how do you easily move a field from say the bottom of the list to the top? I can't figure out a way to drag it in one operation. So user needs to drag it to the top of the viewable area, scroll, drag again, and repeat potentially many times depending on the number of fields available. Super painful!

The described scenario will be covered by the future functionality mentioned by Milena as well since the lists in the Field List will scroll automatically when necessary for drag and drop.
