Flex monster auto time zone changing behavior

Answered
Darshan Nath asked on April 23, 2024

Hi,
Let me explain my application data flow first so that it can be explained in a better way.
In our application we have a field of 'check_in_date' which we enter manually through meteor UI application (for example - 4/23/2024 07:00 am) and send the data to our AWS redshift DB by converting that time. This is how we are converting, we are fetching our application ORG timezone and converting it to UTC (for example : ORG timezone is newyork so we are saving it as utc in DB like this 2024-04-23 11:00:00+00).
After that when we are sending this data in flexmonster report UI, it's subtracting 7 hours from the UTC time in our DB and showing it in reports like this 4/23/2024 4:00 am,which is wrong.
I wanted to know how this flexmonster internally converts the time while showing it to the UI,and also this conversion is dynamic on some params or static.
Also let us know if we can configure it someway so that it converts the data of DB into the timezone of where the application has been deployed while showing it to the flexmonster report.

Thanks and regards,
Darshan
