Hello, Ramcy!

Thank you for writing to us.

We were unable to reproduce the getReport method not returning the updated column order in flat view. Please note that after the column order change, the order of columns in a flat table will be saved to the report.slice.flatOrder array. At the same time, the order in the columns array is unchanged. We suggest checking this property to ensure that the column order is saved in the report.
If the suggestion above does not work, we recommend updating Flexmonster to the latest version since the issue might have been identified and fixed in a newer versions.

Please let us know if our suggestions were helpful.

Best Regards,
Maksym
